Why become a membership of CFAP-Cambodia?
The purpose is to gather small scale farmer groups, CFAs/CBOs and farmer organizations from various provinces through out the country to meet and discuss their problems in farming and strengthening their producing activities, market access and organizational strengthening regularly and find reasonable solution for all.
How can I become a membership of CFAP-Cambodia?
Firstly, you have to seek for membership questionnaire which is available at CFAP-Cambodia's website www.CFAP-Cambodia.org/mebership_questionnaires and print it out to fulfill the membership questionnaires and sending via Fax or email to CFAP-Cambodia head office as a new application for membership of CFAP-Cambodia.
Together, you have to write the affiliated interest to ask for a new membership of CFAP-Cambodia from your site. CFAP-Cambodia will review and examine your new membership questionnaires during the Executive Committee meeting that will hold regularly in March and August of the year. The applications for membership should be sent to CFAP-Cambodia headquarter within 3 months prior the executive committee meeting (the membership questionnaire is in Khmer version). The membership is available upon receipt of applicant after the approval within the committee.
The applicant should be a leader of farmers' organization, communal farmers' association or CBO or as the CEO of a producer organization who has the authority to govern and or manage the organization task.
Eligibility: membership registration within a 2-year period will become full member of CFAP-Cambodia and is eligible to vote as executive committee member, board. When become full member, the representative of farmer organizations can join in other committee meetings of CFAP-Cambodia as a decision making body within the organization in the third year. Only producer organizations are eligible to apply for a membership of CFAP-Cambodia federation.
